Local Newspaper

i dont' like to bring home any office work. But last night, had some urgent thing to do for 11 am meeting the next day (today).

In between work and text twirl online games (haha), Mujahid asked me to help him find a paper-cutting on "nilai-nilai murni" in the newspaper. He said his teacher wants him to bring one tomorrow. It was already his bedtime, and he forgot to do it earlier... i said ok, later after i'm done, i'll find it for him (tak apa la sekali-sekala) . he left the newspaper on the table.

it was 1.30am, was so sleepy, work not finished still, but had to sleep...and i forgot to find that article...

7.00am - Mujahid asked about the article...oppps! so i flipped from one page to another. apparently, out of the whole newspaper, just 3 articles qualify. i mean, 1st few pages, politics - mainly U*** latest news (boring). Next pages - crimes, then entertainment - about this 2 local artiste became stewardess..(??),...i exclude sports lah, it's positive to do sports but the sports articles are of different thing.

our local paper mcm kurang 'isi' utk our children...i'm referring to expectation from the mainstream Malay paper. If those tabloids, apatah lagi...

no wonder nilai2 murni zaman moden is deteriorating...
banyaknya cerita 'perebutan jawatan', kehidupan selebriti, persaingan material (deko rumah & laman, latest cars), kezaliman sesama manusia (crime cases, perang) ...tetapi mungkin itulah yang melariskan suratkhabar...
