1. When i bathe, i will first turn the shower tap on and let the water running for sometime. I just like to see and hear the waterflow, pas tu mula memikir2. May be i subsconsciously do it becoz it's too cold to just jump in...or just want to enjoy some peace & quiet time...i know it's membazir...but it's old habits. don't tell the tuan besar who's paying the bills.

2. I am not a full grown-up when it comes to dealing with insects and animals...i cannot tahan to be in a same room with cockroaches (especially those flying ones). don't ask me to lift a cat or a rabbit. just don't know how to hold them properly -> bad experience of seeing my sister's hand being scratched by her cat. Although not that bad but enough for mem of the house to make house rule no. 7 : No cats in the house.

3. I may sound mean in my writing. Sometimes when i make remarks whether in e-mail or blog/FB comments, it get misinterpreted...i go straight to the facts without the 'background'/intro and assume the other person would see the same way...(same in verbal comm too). Could get me into trouble, this one. weird/unfair that some people could tease others and get away with it but i couldn't.

4. i have a suit-all-occassion wardrobe. my officewear is the same as what i usually wear to giant, wet market, classes, usrah, meetings, children's schools, balik kampung etc. i once planned to spend my bonus and go on a shopping spree to change the whole boring wardrobe but this never happen.

5. i like to play with children, 'inherit' this from Abah... he's playful with small children and loves to tease mak and us. mem of the house believes jokes and humour keep the house sane. serious stuff gives it purpose and direction.

6. i have only 1 handbag, and wear the same pair of shoes (sandals)...also suit-all-occassion stuff. just recently bought a 'proper', formal shoes just in case.

7. when i did not have helper, i used to achieve / do more things after work. now that i have more time to spare, i seem to achieve less...! less stress yes, but time seems to be of less value if one has little to do.
