Down, down Israel!

it's been a while since we last joined a demonstration... being in kuantan has given us an excuse but not this time. it's something that we've felt the urge to do. so when we got the e-mail from bro zairul, it just clicked. we set off for kl with bro samsuddin, nizam and syahid.

we parked at wangsa maju and took the lrt to ampang park.
in the lrt, i asked sumayyah whether she knows where we were going.
told her we want to marah orang amerika for killing her friends in palestine.

she was unsure how exactly we were going to 'marah' someone...but she did enjoy the lrt ride.

the first person i met was k. liza, wife of akhi muhammad sylvester. then i saw the iron ladies, k. nashita (more demo pic here) and cikgu laila. then, k. misah manan, k. ros...and many others...we walked from ampang park to tabung haji and waited there until the jumaat prayer ended. the crowd began to get bigger and bigger...

we listened to the leaders addressing the crowd. then, we moved to the embassy after making a U-turn and walked along the highway. the cars honking loud!

there's my man with little princess marching towards the embassy. someone really nice gave sumayyah the big poster abi was holding. once, we walked together near the (i think) Muslim Professional Forum (MPF) group...mdm Azra Banu leading the group shouting (with no hailer but she was all fiery!)

the crowd looks like a big, colourful family...against a common enemy.
