Sagu Gula Melaka

Sagu Gula Melaka is one of my favourite desserts. but the last time i made this was many many years ago. it was for a guest, my husband's friend. that time, the sagu tasted like sabun...yes, soap...! it was so embarassing, and i did not know what went wrong. was sure we had the utensil clean. anyhow, it takes years for me to brave it again... :)

tried again...alhamdulillah, ok. recipe is basic..i think everyone knows it...i used 1 pack of sagu (boiled and stirred until transparent colour), some fresh coconut milk cooked with daun pandan and gula melaka 1-2 ketul. each of the 3 items prepared separately.

i love this kuih as it is sweet and creamy. and the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level as you go...
