Little Updates; Bye2 doggy

Mujahid just left for his school's post-UPSR 3D2N trip to KL/Melaka.

He's sleeping over at the school with all his friends.  The teachers wanted everyone to be ready on time, no latecomers because the bus will take them very early morning to KL.

Umar & Sumayyah have final exam next week.

Balik dari sekolah tadi, somehow Sumayyah terjatuh dalam parit/longkang di sekolah...tergelincir kata dia. But she's fine, cuma habis baju sekolah sebab tenggelam dalam lumpur. Mayyah ni accident prone betul...dalam seminggu, berapa kali terantuk, terjatuh etc. 

Mayyah & Zubayr menang johan acara 3-legged race
(siblings category) during Zubayr's Sports Day.

Kalau Umi balik dari kerja, memang Mayyahlah yang selalu ada menyambut kereta Umi di depan rumah samada tengah naik basikal, layan Hamza jalan-jalan atau main badminton dengan k. Min.  

She's such an adorable sanguine...!

Zubayr ada graduation this coming 22nd. 

Esok lusa kena pergi cari baju kemeja putih & seluar panjang hitam untuk his class performance.

Ha, ni pulak...cuba teka siapa saya...? :)

Bye-bye Doggy

i have changed my blog template again. 

It started with this email i received from a friend complete with photos of a quite famous local actress (Melayu ler) living with a puppy as her pet. It really was disturbing. She was like sleeping with her puppy, cuddling it and carried the dog like a baby.  It's not haram to touch a dog but considering that one has to samak every time, it sure is tough to clean oneself for prayers. And the dog's everywhere in the house, beds and whatnots.

That made me thinking that the dog cartoon in my previous blog template macam tak patut...although it was just a cartoon and anjing pun makhluk Allah juga...cuma macam tak sesuai lah nak maintain guna gambar anjing tu lagi...

Sometimes, if we condone and familiarize ourselves with certain things yang tak sepatutnya, bermula dengan  "alah, sporting lah", "tak apa kut", lepas tu..."sikit aje", & lama-kelamaan perkara yang kita tidak suka boleh menjadi darah daging...itulah tipudaya syaitan.. 

It won't take us straight from "white" to "black", but tempt us with grey areas until we give in and cross the limits without even realising...

may Allah guide me to see my faults and make muhasabah (self-check).

life is a struggle (big or small), but if we struggle for the truth, insya Allah, it will be worth it.
