Make-Over

Read somewhere about ways to give a house a new, revamped look, without costly renovations :-
- giving it a new paint -->  never attempted on any exterior wall before
- change the curtain --> did this in raya 2009
- rearrange the furniture --> do it all the time

The House underwent a little repainting project last week.

A little background.  This house was bought in 2008 from a friend who got her transfer to KL.  Our friend had repainted the whole interior with cream (lower floor) and cool pastel green (upper floor) which we really like... but somehow they left out the outside paint in its original colour. So we thought, this needs a little touch up..

This is how it was BEFORE :-

And this is AFTER.

We had been searching for the right colours before deciding on white and brown.
The popular walls around the neighbourhood were grey, cream/yellowish and green.
Halfway through the painting job, when the house looked all white, i thought white is really a great colour!
It looks clean and it stood out.
If not for the brown paint yang dah terbeli, we could have settled for all white. bayangkan kalau pagar ni putih...mesti nampak luas, kan...huhu

Tak kisahlah, warna aje ni, yang penting all the lumut dah dikikis and gone!

Inilah teratak tempat istirehat..., semoga Allah merahmati rumah ini dengan mawaddah, rahmah & sakinah... kasih sayang & ketenteraman...
