Our bus trip

Next week completes the third month we are here in oz!
So tinggal 9 bulan aje lagi kami di sini...:)
So many things to do, so little time!

Anyways, just a short entry to story about our first little trip on adelaide metro bus - just me & Hamza.

Abi sent the Nimbus for its first service at a workshop on Richmond Road recently.
That's about 10km from our house.
Abi sent it to the workshop in the morning on his way to work, and I was supposed to collect the car when it is done at about noon.

At about 1.30pm, i was already checking and double-checking the route in google map.  We had to take bus number 232 to Arndale, and then changed there for bus number 100.

Abi had given us this multiple trips ticket...For 30 dollars boleh guna 10kali...so, satu trip $3 dollar.  Without this, i think it would cost me $8.60 per trip!! Ticketnya kecik aje...90 ringgit ni...

We walked to the nearest bus stop and waited for bus 232 and alhamdulillah, it wasn't a long wait at all.
It was quite a hot day and Hamza was actually sleeping. Kena dukung and lupa pulak bawa topi...huhu.
Had to pergi juga coz i had to pick up the kids at 3pm and takut tak sempat kalau tunggu Hamza bangun.

Hamza dah bangun...terkejut tiba-tiba ada dalam bas...:)

Bus trip was fun! Hamza seronok sangat...and enjoyed his window seat :)
The bus no. 100 to Glen Osmond 19 took us south.  We passed by Woodville Library, going thourgh Findon Road, Hillbrook Road, Marion Road..and finally sampai stop 8G which is nearest to RIchmond intersection.
The whole trip took us about 1 hour (door to door).

  Impressive sangat dengan public bus di adelaide...firstly, bus number and route sangat clear in google map.   Waiting time tak lama.  And bus stops clearly numbered...dari dalam bus dah boleh countdown the bus stop signs 8D, 8E, 8F...8G :)  Had to get it right first time. Kalau terlajak, kena berjalan balik mendukung si kecik ni...

we made it!

We made it to stop 8G, and from there we walked to the workshop. Alhamdulillah.
That was a memorable trip on the bus especially for Hamza.
Kalau kami pergi Arndale for grocery shopping, memang banyak bas-bas yang transit kat situ.  We will always be reminded of the bus trip.  Hamza mesti cakap "nak naik bas, nak naik bas!"
