Pahang NGOs combined efforts to organise one day programme 'In Solidarity with Palestine' at the state mosque and Dewan JAIP yesterday. The NGOs were JIM, Nadwah, ISMA, Amal Palestin and Haluan. Saw a booth by Saba Islamic Media too.
CD on anak-anak palestine, the car stickers, children stickers and JIM's Palestine t-shirts sold like goreng pisang panas. many asked about the mufflers JIM members were wearing. It was unfortunate we did not have the stock.
Abi and the boys went to Dewan JAIP to see nasyid by Nazrey and ceramah by 2 guest speakers. the dewan was crammed with people. the organisers initially planned to hold the ceramah at either the bigger padang or the mosque. but some SB or sick people, may be phobia of big crowds refused permission. tak tau lah takut kat sapa...tak de ke rasa nak tolong orang palestine ? kenapa suka menyusahkan orang nak buat kerja baik? pergi siasat ahli2 politik yang tak habis2 amik rasuah tu!!
YDP JIM Pahang's recap of the event here.
