HK (III) - City Tour

Abi's team decides that they needed a break from the long lectures so they booked a city tour. i paid HK300 to join in. the tour is indeed worth it. we got many insights of hong kong history and life from the friendly tour guide.

we went to The Peak to see the full view of HK city but it was hazy, we couldn't see much. :( the best part is climbing to the top of the hill by the Peak Tram. it was said that it is a 45 degree angle climb.

next is Madame Tussaud's. been to one in london so i thot it must be the same..but HK's version has more asian politicians and singers/actors. meet my chinese bf...:)

i was too shy i did not get his name...:) familiar HK big names to me are chow yun fat and jackie chan. did have a secret crush on ah kit of the police academy 85 series when i was in primary school...:)

behind us, on top of the hill is jackie chan's mansion. he's mega rich. in today's news, he's planning to donate some HK60 mil + worth of stuff to singaporean govt (coz he loves singapore too) and the hk media is making a noise why HK govt was too slow responding to the actor's offer, which was originally made to his own country.

then we went to aberdeen fishing village. the sampan ride costs like HK50 (i think) so we just took photos. was tempted to have a go actually.

next stop is ladies market. we already went to the market last night. so we detoured to fa yuen again back to a shop which we thought had given us a good offer. it has good laptop bags at HK 100. last stop is the avenue of stars. not in my original to-visit list but layan aje lah....
