Hong Kong (I)

Alhamdulillah, arrived in HK at 2000hrs yesterday.

Abi has a seminar and i sort of 'menyibuk'...

kind of a 2nd honeymooon

bought the 'octopus' travelling card at HK200 - refundable deposit of HK50, airport express trip to Central (HK100) and left with HK50. exchange rate is roughly 1RM = 2HK. No time difference with KL hence easy adjustment. was told the previous week has been cold at times down to 15 degrees. the day i arrived, it was 24 degrees.

took the tram near Central Station to Wan Chai where our hotel is, for HK2.

got to have exact change on these trams.

apart from nice, helpful people i met and advanced transportation system, i noticed the food is quite pricey compared to KL. bought soya drink in the plastic bottle for HK7 and a custard bun at HK6. gotta do a daily budget! hope i can afford some nice things at the street of kowloon...

that's first on my to-visit list.
