Exciting Countdown
Exciting things are happening next week, if Allah wills.
on 14th, we are going to KL for the Company's annual sports meet.
I'm menyebuking again this year - at first as a reserved player for netball. But one girl after another injured themselves, so now i'm finding myself as the team's 1st seven. Daily basis kena torture by the coach due to my lack of skills. Selama ni main rupanya tak ikut ajaran sebenar...:)
I am not really a player lah, happy to be a reserve, when i don't really have to sweat but still can claim a school player in my CV. he he he...back when i was Rumah Merah Form 3 at SMLK. eh, cannot be, i played also for my uni in 1996 Msian Sport Meet in Notts. Also, 2-3 years back in JIM Pahang's team, and we won against JIM Kelantan and JIM terengganu...ok what.... :)
Back to the match, it will be on Friday, 15th...And we have been practising daily, 1.5 hours morning, and another 2 hrs in the evening. Tomorrow, the boss ordered all players to climb Bukit Pelindung for stamina test. Ouch! That hill is notorious for its steep cerun...I hate the fact that next week is approaching so fast.., due to the coming tournament and the fact that we are so lack of practice, PLUS we have last year's defending champion in our group.
But, i DO look forward to the day AFTER the match, ....for..... Osaka trip! Alhamdulillah, i managed to get a reasonable MAS ticket price for just RM1,431 inc. insurance.
Sad part is the kids kena tinggal with my dad and k. Min...They really wanted to go, but the tickets for 5 are waaayyy too costly. i wanted to bring Hamza, sebab belum sekolah, but it won't be fair to the others.
It's my first trip to Japan, and learning from Abi, food is not only expensive but halal ones are difficult to get at his place (suburb). It's unlike Bangkok (cheaper) or HK (big city)..
Now i am so occupied with 1. netball drills 2. to prepare for the trip, and 3. to stock things at home..
exciting, exciting countdown!
:)
