ALhamdulillah..we have finally arrived in Ostolia on 26th November, 8am local time.
It's 2.5 hours ahead of Malaysian time.
Just to remind kenangan manis di airport...Che Na & keluarga meneman kami menunggu di airport Kuantan.
Terima kasih kepada K. Aishah & husband also k. Jah & husband for dropping by to bade farewell.
Although only for a year, but will definitely miss the ukhuwwah!
Of course, thank you PC Hashim & family for being there and taking care of our cars while we are gone.
We arrived in warm and windy Adelaide greeted by Jalee & our long time family friend, Risman.
It's approaching summer now. Subuh ends at 6am and isya' is at 10pm.
The kids are anxious about snow but that has to wait till June, and we have to go to Melbourne for that. :)
We are staying at Risman's house for the time being. K. Rin and her 5 children are so kind to spare us a room. We are so touched by the close knit among the post grad families here. It seems everyone is so very kind to help new families settling in. We met Dr Kamarul & wife, K. Nana , Azam and wife, K. Yanti, Azmi & Aishah, bro Sayoti & k. Wan, and Yon. They are eager to share spending tips and in getting good bargains. Starting family life here on scholarship is not easy!
And the wives make good food too...so peer pressure there. ha ha
Alhamdulillah, we have found a car - many thanks to bro Sayoti who helped us inspecting it and negotiating for the price. It's a 7-seater 1995 Mitsubishi Nimbus. Nothing fancy but we were told it should be quite reliable.
We have also found a house after 12 days!...:) Gone thru series of house inspections and about 5-6 visits to the agents office to submit our forms.
Mayah & Hamza enjoying themselves at this one park in front of one of the many interesting houses we inspected. This one is at Mansfield Park. Tapi tak jadi apply due to a few reasons...huhu
Next post, our actual house and car pic. :)
